This PMC test extender provides an active interface between a PMC carrier slot (PCI bus) and a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC). It fits on a PMC carrier and provides one extended connection for a standard PMC module. The test extender allows the integrator full access outside the cage to a PMC boards. The rear I/O connections are also connected through the PMC J4 connector.

The design utilizes a TI PCI2250I 32 Bit transparent PCI/PCI Bridge to transfer data between the PMC carrier slot and the PMC site insuring an excellent communication path between the PMC module and the carrier.
